High Court To Hear Murder Case Of Two Kibeta Teachers.


Two Kibeta Primary School teachers, who are accused of torturing and causing of a Standard Five pupil, have been committed for trial to the High Court.
Kagera Resident Magistrate in-charge John Kapokolo made the ruling yesterday morning following an application made by public prosecutor Athumani Matuma, who informed the court that the court investigation had been completed.
‘’Your honor, investigation into the murder case PI No 18 /2018 has been completed. We ask this court to commit the case for trial to the High Court, ’he said, adding that the prosecution intended to rely on 25 witnesses and several exhibits to establish the murder case.
First accused Respicius Mutazangirwa (50) informed the court that he intended to call four defense witnesses, while second accused Elieth Gerald (46) told the court that intended to call six defense witnesses.
